Summer finally feels like it's on its way - the beach, corn on the cob, drawing with chalk on the patio. Days seem to go by so fast that I have to look at pictures in order to remember exactly what fun stuff we did! August loves to explore everything and even just taking a walk around our block offers bugs, cracks in the sidewalk, bikes, flowers, stop signs... sometimes it's easy to forget that these everyday little things we are used to are completely new to August. He can't get enough of being outdoors, but when we are inside, he can play with my old Fisher Price Little People toys and Duplo Farm blocks for HOURS. We also listen to lots of different music and dance our pants off (not literally). The second he hears a beat, he starts boogieing! We are so enjoying seeing the world through his eyes and seeing his personality and sense of humor blossom. He's into playing hide and seek, chase and diaper changes have turned back into wrestling matches because something about being naked makes him want to run around the bed and laugh wildly! Oh and the teeth - we've got lots more teeth with more on the way, of course. With these new teeth have come a bigger and more diverse appetite although the favorites are still avocado (which he eats everyday), blueberries, black beans, pancakes and his new favorite, popcorn.
