Although it was the shortest month, February was chocked full of fun - especially with a quick visit to Colorado to see Baba and Grandpa Jack! August got to experience snow for the very first time when it snowed for about 15 minutes one evening! He was having so much fun that we could barely get him to go to bed at night even though he'd been going non-stop all day. We definitely had to catch up on sleep when we came home!

"Choo-choos" and basketball are still at the top of his list. August's basketball shot is amazing! When we have friends over, at first they'll be sweet and say, "Hey buddy, let's see you put the cute little ball in the basket," and then they quickly realize that he's a shark and he's making shots from across the room!

Aug talks so much now and makes us laugh all the time - there is a choo-choo by Gramma Linda (pronounced "Gramma Weenda") and after we went and saw it, for days he would randomly blurt out in total seriousness (with his finger pointed up), "I SAW A CHOO CHOO!" He also told his first joke (which of course, made us beam with pride) - Matt put his coffee cup on top of the car and August pointed at it and said, "Hat!" (like the car was wearing a hat, get it?) and then did a face like he knew he was being silly. That's our boy!
